This is the Indian geographical map.
In India there are 3 subcontinents.
The citizens of ancient India lived in a land of extremes and the terrain presented great challenges for them. Occasional extremes weather such as drought, sand storms and monsoons were also part of life in this land. However, great civilizations developed and flourished along the rivers, mountains, plains and deserts of the subcontinent. There are many rivers in India that make the land fertile so they can plant crops that wont die as often as UN-fertile lands. India is surrounded by 3 bodies of water. for the traders the landscape was harsh because it made the journeys a lot longer because of the Himalayas hills that they had to get to to trade with other cities and also they had to travel in groups because they had tigers and other wild life that put them in danger
