Indus valley
The Indus valley is in india between Afghanistan and Pakistan and is the area highlighted in green on the map above.
The road was tough for the traders because they had to travel thousands of kilometres all their lives, they crossed mountains followed rivers and through forest to get to their designated place to trade to, They travelled in groups to protect them from the bandits and the wildlife they stop at inns at night or made a camp and kept going early in the morning. some traders carried their goods on the back and some had carts powered by bullocks
